Kaitiakitanga

Gardening sustainably ensures we are guardians of the land around us. Through promoting the use of native plants, and methods of gardening that mimic natural processes, we support and feed the ecosystems around us. This value is summed up best in the Māori word: Kaitiakitanga, and is at the heart of the philosophy of Permaculture, which guides our garden consultation and design process.
